Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has called a party meeting for January 8 to finalize the plan for the vote of confidence in Punjab.
According to sources, Earlier PTI has been unable to agree on the issue, and since Moonis of the PML-Q is abroad, the vote of confidence may now be further delayed. According to them, the PTI and PML-Q partnership has no choice but to request a vote of confidence in accordance with the governor of Punjab, Baligur Rehman. On the other hand, Sibtain Khan, the speaker of the Punjab Assembly, stated on Monday that the decision to dissolve the provincial assembly, as per the direction of the PTI chief, is final.
Imran Khan had not changed his mind, the PTI leader insisted, and he reaffirmed that the Assembly of both provinces will be dissolved at the PTI chief’s signal.
