According to Maryam Nawaz and Muhammad Zubair, Nawaz Sharif’s spokesperson, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, has resigned from his position as Senior Vice President.
In a media interview, Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif’s spokesman Muhammad Zubair said Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is a senior N League leader. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s status will not be affected by leaving the Senior Vice President’s post. There is no doubt that he is a great leader. The party needs him since he has served as Prime Minister.
Furthermore, he said that Miftah Ismail is a party member and Ishaq Dar holds a high position in the party. Despite the filth that lurks within the party, he does not want to discuss it publicly in any way.
Denial of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi resignation from the party post!
Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi denied resigning from the party post. Muslim League (N) Senior Vice President Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s spokesperson Hafiz Usman Abbasi said in a statement that the news of his resignation is baseless. He is the senior vice president of the party.
The spokesman said he did not leave the party under difficult circumstances; why would he leave today? He won the election as an independent in 1988 and joined the Muslim League (N). Shahid Khaqan Abbasi served jail time but did not deviate from his mission. Nawaz Sharif made him the Prime Minister and as Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had said that Nawaz Sharif is his leader.
On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League (N) refrained from confirming Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s resignation from the party post. The news of his resignation from the party post was revealed in the media.
