Six new Model Customs Collectorates have been established by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)

Six new Model Customs Collectorates have been established by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to boost enforcement and anti-smuggling efforts nationwide.

According to sources, the FBR has published a notification regarding this.

At the Islamabad Airport, Khuzhdar, Dera Ismail Khan, SAPT Karachi, Appraisement-West, and Appraisement-East, Lahore, new customs Collectorates have been built.

35 Model Customs Collectorates were currently in existence, including seven offices for the Chief Collector of Customs.

According to officials, the new Model Customs Collectorates are being developed to increase revenue collection from imports and customs clearances.
