The All Parties Conference will now take place on February 7–9, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated on Monday through Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb. Politicians from around the nation will gather on Thursday to develop a plan to combat the revival of terrorism as the government considers its reaction to the TTP and other terror groups.
The All Parties Conference’s postponement was announced by the Information Minister, but the delay’s cause was not made public.
All political parties, including the once ruling PTI, are said to be in communication with a number of the ruling alliance’s leaders. Imran Khan, the former prime minister, was reportedly also issued an invitation by the APC, but the PTI leader insisted that the PTI had not yet received a formal invitation.
